Since having Kacen I've had absolutely no energy, to do anything. Chris had to go back to work the day after Kacen was born, which has been rough. Chris works nights so he's asleep pretty much all day. Leaving me to fend for myself & Kacen! We've been doing pretty good, I'm just majorly lacking in the sleep department. Chris leaves on Monday for 14 days to extend his fire fighting training - exciting for him, fairly depressing for me. Of course I am thrilled this will help him with his career, but I'd also like to have him home and *awake* to spend time with us. I love being a mom, I do but I'm tired. I feel disgusting, I'm now the master at 'the mom pony tail' and no make-up look. I'm really looking forward to when Kacen decides to sleep at night, even if I don't get to I just want a little down-time, even if it's for 10 minutes.
I have learned to multi-task (big time) since giving birth! I can breast feed Kacen & do other things at the same time! An example - Today I opened AND ate a yogurt with him feeding away! I can now clean up messes with my feet while nursing him. And so many other things that probably seem minor to most, but when you have one or no hands, it is a pretty big deal!
My Love!!
And my other love!
